Ridiculous all the political correctness and how everyone is so friggin offended by everything. Getting out of control. This is what's wrong with giving participation trophies. You end up with a future generation of cry babies, just great. Too much giving in to all these groups. I can understand removing the Confederate Flag from state Government buildings like happened last year, OK fine, but to now have to remove these Civil War Confederate statues is out of control, and you know something is sketchy when its done under the cover of night like in Baltimore.  Sorry just my opinion but its bullshit. What's next? 
Removing all the 9/11 memorials cause they offend muslims? 

 

I hear ya JG, my issue is the other idiots on the road, too many distracted drivers out there. Its a serious gamble every ride. 

Yep, I have bought 2 BMW's and 1 Triumph from them in the last year. Josh and Craig are very nice to deal with and service after is top notch.  Yes I was crushed when I found out  they were moving further away, I live in Williamsport and was hoping they were moving closer but I guess another 25 miles won't hurt.                 I rode to Benezett Sunday then up to Port Allegheny over to Cherry Springs and took 44 S. back home beautiful day for a ride I will let you know next time I intend to do that.

Recognize the parking lot, guess they are the only BMW dealer in SC. Josh was the best to deal with a wonderful person, they are moving about 25 miles, new shop. If you are on their mailing list and going to do a Saturday ride sometime let me know. Coming from my sport background I wanted the 4 cylinder, had enough twin with the Multistrada. The GS is a great bike also.

Yeah this sucks, I'm all for safety but on wide open rural trails cruising at less than 70mph is boring 

We had a spectacular blue sky day today,  ran the ice and portages to the remote village of  Black  Tickle, definitely a Team Maine Custom tour today!. Gorgeous ride!  More details to follow RR

Ha funny, just got done washing them. Not as bad as I thought. Just a light haze of salt spray on the front. They cleaned up easily. The truck and trailer where cleaner than usual when we got home too. Her windshield on the Cat didn't much like the highway speeds. Only 2 screws left holding it on. The others pulled the rubber grommets off. Much further and it woulda flew off. 
I also gotta say good job to Klim, FXR, and the Skidoo Absolute Zero gear ( or who ever makes their stuff ). After riding through that monsoon in the mountains for the better part of 100 miles, everything stayed dry, all the electronics survived. Pockets where dry.  And everything was dry by morning, even the saddle bags. Packing everything in zip lock bags and water proof bags worked and only my tshirt was a little damp. So we where able to put on nice dry clothes for dinner. Everybody was mostly dry on the trail, only a few minor issues with water getting in. And we weren't wasting any time either. We where running 60 plus mph up 595 in a down pour. It sucked, not gonna lie. But wouldn't trade the experience for anything. It was a hell of a ride albeit a shortened one. I'll never forget this one.

Hope you don't mind this hijack of your thread Ray but your trailer story is bringing back some memories LOL. This is what happened to us coming home in 2008. The first picture is priceless, my buddy looking at what was left 15 seconds after getting rear ended.

Really enjoying the reports of this trip and jealous as hell that I am not doing the same ! Hopefully some winter soon I can get enough time off work to doo it. Ride on guys and be safe 👍

Just once I would like to see the moose turn around and trample these low life's. No one with any decency would do this to an animal of any type. 

For those of you that remember, we bumped into Andre and Nicole today. We were running from Bernieres to RDL on the poog and they were getting their mail as we were crossing the road. They both look good and we were happy to see them if only for a few minutes. They were always very welcoming as we have made this trip for many years. We always stopped for a snack and gas. They have been closed in the winter for the last few years. I can remember Andre posting whenever the groomer would pass back on HCS. Unfortunately with sleds getting such better mileage than in the past, some fuel stops are not as important as they used to be. Happy life to you, Andre and Nicole, and thanks for your support in our sport.

This reminds me of a woman I met at Relais 22 a few years ago who was on tour by herself with a little dog zipped inside her coat.

When we came through that area about a week and a half ago there was logging going on near Desmaraisville hopefully you don't run into that As they plowed it down to nothing safe travels and thanks for the report !

Letter from a Farmer in St Maurice. This guy gets it. 

I am writing today expressing my great disappointment in the choice of the means of pressure that the Union of Agricultural Producers (UPA) has made recently.
Indeed, the decision to boycott the snowmobile trails on our land makes me jump a lot and this leads me to ask several questions.
I would like to share with you those that are part of my reflection.
Do you think we are targeting the right people by opting for this? Do not you think that penalized people will be our own customers?
Indeed, the snowmobile relays that serve our products will be the ones who suffer the most. Is it really on them that we have to exert that pressure? Do we really want to make them suffer?
I believe we should be loyal partners to those entrepreneurs in our regions who are dependent on our actions.
Moreover, we will tarnish our image towards the fans of this sport, who are also our customers.
Are we truly logical and true partners when making our choices?
We should make it our duty to be positive actors in the economic development of our regions.
Where has our solidarity and gratitude for our customers gone?
My goal today is simply to inspire reflection to ensure that our choice is logical and thoughtful.
Good snowmobile season, dear customers!

Actually yes, that is where she went after she got paroled from school this afternoon. Like the postal service, neither rain, nor sleet or hail and snow will stop her from getting those nails done.

I can tell you that Reggie and Nancy were outstanding hosts at the Drakkar and went out of their way to make sure we had a great time. Besides the heated garage  if needed they also fixed the gate so security is excellent, painted and updated the rooms and there is a continental breakfast which would be plenty by itself however they always make a few hot items as well like eggs sausage and potatoes etc. very very nice touch !  See you in February ❄️
