I say it’s “karma” for the over the top expensive gas and canned gravy and peas my guess is they will make out with insurance and still have “expensive gas and canned gravy”

I’m heading up a week from Saturday to same area and northward for a week and can barely contain myself I don’t think I’ve ever been “Jon sing” so much ever to ride.

My buddy left Mattawin yesterday and said it was a 9.2 on a “10” scale of the condition of the 360 trail to the 345 junction that heads north. from that junction heading north for approximately 9-13 miles on the 345 he rated it a 7.4 then they cut into the bush logging roads to get to camp another 20 miles or so. Ironically he said that was an 8.5

Not helpful on that side but mon ami and his brother report 9.2 on the 360 yesterday from Mattawin to the 345 junction A 7.4 from there to the M20 junction

I miss being up in that area. Been 3 years now and haven’t been. Long overdue for visiting all my native buddies up there. I think a March run up in that area is in store.

Our small group has been using them for years. Quality product, built right for the elements. Love the orange blinking hazard light that runs off the units 9volt battery. Use it often while taking a break at night on the trail to warn anyone coming and don’t need to turn the sled back on.

I dont ever remember seeing those numbers not even once. Anybody....????

Just AWESOME!!!!!! man I would love to do that so……you can make the same time and mileage in a day as when snowmobiling. 4 wheeler would probably be a little harder to achieve that one. Did you see much traffic and where was the Zec police guy at ??? Glad you had a good trip. Also …..were you dirty as hell at the end of the day ..lol

Earlier reports that Clova was left to burn and burning turn out to be untrue as of now google search “Clova” and “news” about a story from there about an hour ago from CTV news also just spoke to mon ami Andre and fire is twelve miles away from the camp at the junction we ride in on says all forest roads are closed until further notice this SUCKS big time for Quebec and all our friends there

Praying for my friends in and around Chapais area and all over Quebec. mon ami Andre says their Zec is closed because of fires 12 miles north of the camp around Eagle Lake told him if the camp burns we will rebuild it but I need my own bedroom this time. I remember as many of us do when the fires destroyed huge areas west of Clova towards the Abitibi. It’s taken 15+ years to bring that place somewhat back to life hot as hell here in upstate NY this week and dry

"Started the last run of the season in Val dor at forestel. Truck and trailers everywhere." And if I had to guess 80% of those trucks had Ontario plates on them. Never in all the years have I seen so many people from Ontario in Quebec as this season. Have had a blast over the years at trail stops, restaurants, hotels and even riding with Ontario peeps. Last year I ran into a couple guys that we met & hung out with in Matagami over 10 yrs ago.

Thanks for posting this. Very informative. Have had my close calls for sure and hope I don't ever come upon one again. Seems as a snowmobiler the only time you see them is smack dab right in the middle of the trail. As these video's show....dont EVER underestimate one. The last video is disturbing. Didnt realize many snowmobilers "pack" in different parts of the world and dont hesitate to pull it out and use it.
