Ok you convinced me.  I like the itenary.  Thanks for the advice.  Hope to get this run in mid March.  Its 250 km for the last day which is manageable with the drive home still to do.  Thanks for the advice.

Quebec is one of my favourite places to ride too.  FCMQ is promoting the same thing, but does state it's a personal choice of the riders to determine when it's safe to signal.

This thread is comical.  I completely agree with riding right (I do all the time and agree everyone should keep right), but not signaling is way offside.  I tend to think that the ISMA has done their homework on this topic.

Some of these hand signals are legal requirements that you must do as a rider or you can be charged.  Cops have been handing out tickets to guys in Timmins Ontario this winter for not signaling.  You signal when you safely can, not as the first thing you do when meeting oncoming sleds.  First get your sled positioned properly on the trail (this should be no big deal if you're the guy riding right).  If you don't have enough control of your sled to be able to signal safely driving with one hand then slow down.  You're riding too fast.

Red and green.  One to ride up and one to come down.  Avoid the red on a weekend.  Yellow has the long plowed section this winter.

Yeah the amber sun visor sucks.  I swear they changed it just so they could sell the smoke visors as an adder.  My 2019 helmet came with smoke. Wife's 2020 version came with amber and she hates it as well.

So after a trip to the dealer their conclusion is the helmet works as designed.  It does create some heat on the flip down visor, but not enough to clear condensation.  I am finding riding with the main visor cracked open for a minute or so will clear everything up when riding with a little speed.  I'm disappointed in this feature of the helmet which in my view was over marketed, but still generally happy with the helmet overall.  The main shield works great and it is by far the warmest helmet I've ever owned.  No more frost bite or windchill on the neck for this guy.  Cord management system is also a great idea that works really well.

Lol.  Had that issue last year with my darling.   She kept telling me over the communicators that she was running low and I kept assuring her the gas pumps were only 5 km away and I couldn't move them closer.  Then she ran out and her sled stalled.  🤢  Am still hearing about it.

I'd break the group up into 2 groups.  That will help with fuel stop delays.

Running the Scala Q3.  They are obsolete now (replaced by something better I'm sure).  They have been a good unit.  Mounting in the Oxygen was a challenge, but I got it done.  Just got the helmet so no ride time in with them yet.  They worked great in our old helmets.

They made the change cause now you can get trail conditions on the same map which are green and yellow.  It all works.  I think having that info added is a bonus.

Just have your hotel ring it off for you.  Should be less work for them then selling passes.

I tend to try and purchase from the smaller clubs in more remote areas.  The ones that would create a real mess if they folded by knocking out key links from area to area.  That and try to pick the areas I plan to ride in.

Ones for days mileage.  Second is how far you've went since last fuel stop.  I'm with the crowd that bitched and am happy to see they listened.  They are the best sleds on the snow.
