Signfan got a reaction from MrGutz in Saint Zenon
If history is an indicator more than likely yes. Most seasons they have early season Christmas riding in the area with conditionsthat vary. You're really asking for a weather prediction here 2 - 3 weeks out though. Lots on here will start making crystal ball predictions for 2 weeks from now with this question. Lol.

So whats the deal if you aren't subscribed / insured with airmedic? They still come and you get a 4 or 5 figure bill for the airlift afterwards? Or will they deny you a flight?
Completely agree getting the patient to a road or landing area is the big challenge. Witnessed an incident near home. Injured party was maybe 2 miles from the nearest road / town. Relatively good place in comparison to some of the remote places we get riding. Was a 3 hour process to get medics in, victim stabilized and transported out to the air ambulance on the back of a side by side on a backboard. Medics wouldn't ride in behind me on my sled with 2 up seat. Had to wait for volunteer fire department to give them a ride in. Once in the air ambulance he was at the hospital 200 km away in under an hour. Was a big eye opener on what the extraction process can be. Sold me on a tek vest that day.

They're under 15' of snow when you cross them. You'd think by mid winter they could just fill the creeks full of snow and carry on.

When I saw the title thought it might be the first snow pics of the season taken at elevation. Lol.

Signfan got a reaction from MrGutz in looking for good trip plan
Try this route
http://fcmq.fcmqapi.ca/i?s=IwGmFZgZgNgTnAJhiA2gWhgBnAqY4B2Q8EcADizmCxEVzigF0xTVhg4AWLKPkHlHD5g5BOTCCU6LpWoh0NQnBiIFMQuWyscMGCwwdywQqNIdwvBVyjBEa9IUSauCxFEbSTUe6-cwKWhguOHJmNFQRLGQQcNp4kATaSLBolAgmJiA&r=2
Start and finish at the Delta.
Day 1 - 49th parallel trail. Stay at Hotel Jardin
Day 2 - run TQ83 through Wemotaci. Stay at Pouvoire Kanawata
Day 3 - Down 345 and head for St Raymond - Stay at Roquemont. Another option is the St Alexis Pub
Day 4 - Back to the Delta. TQ23 is phenominal. Especially the section from L'Etape to Mont Apica. Avoid the weekends for this leg if possible.
If you still have time I would argue TQ83 south of Saguenay is one of the nicest trails in the province. Especially from where 383 meets it all the way down to TQ3. A ride to La Malbaie and back is a great day.

It's enough to say we feel your sport is 2nd class. They should offer a shuttle.
