  1. north shore above the river heading on 3 towards forestville has a lot of trails off 3 and conditions there are good...same story heading all the way to sept ille...certainly isn't going to be a deal where you will find all the fancy places like universal hotel...but with a GPS and a realization that it will be more adventure and discovery...especially since most have never been up that far...it's great riding and exciting...AND WAY BETTER THAN SITTING HOME GIVING UP ON THE SEASON...the temps look like they are cooperating...if we can get a storm...it will be excellent in the north country

  2. Just pulled the trigger on a 2024 Lynx x terrain brutal 850...trading in the 2020 extreme...lighter sled without the two speed transmission with XRS suspension...and 4 more wheels in rear skid and a 7.2 cluster...all the Linq accessories swap over...great trade and 1.4 interest...putting my faith in many more great winters ahead of us...and hopefully the best is yet to come this season...like ice said...IT ISN'T OVER!!

Has anyone been to Sept Iles yet this season?  Looking at doing a quick loop up there next week from the Gaspesie.  Looking for real snow level reports.  From online info it looks to be as good as most places, decent but not typical.

Heading there and east last few days of the month and first week of march...and with the cold coming and hopefully more snow by then it should be very good up there

  4. Also plan ahead...unlike the good old days...the dealer is closed on weekends...so don't break down or need oil and belts ...it's your last stop if you are heading east...these guys also have great intel on local trails going west...days worth of good riding here if you care to hang out for a few days..and plenty of good restaurants and basically anything else you will need...rather than ferry from Matane another great avenue is leaving from Sacre-Coeur and riding up through Forestville...they certainly do not get the same traffic up there and have a little more snow and a few degrees colder...every little bit counts between 25 to 32 degrees

  5. This isn't being addressed properly...and we are missing a great opportunity here...we have all these people lined up against us and this sport we love..trying to extort money, close trails...and come up with more restrictive regulations ...all the time.... FCMQ should have a reciprocal policy...get caught with your car or truck on our maintained trail system and the fine is 100$ a foot for every foot you are in on the trail...plus a 1000$ minimum recovery fee...this money goes to the nearest club that grooms or goes towards bridge and trail maintenance....only seems fair...and it should also count towards you drivers license and insurance costs....and if you are a school bus driver the fees are doubled

  6. I'm only drinking bottled water from now on when I'm in Quebec, guy with the most sets of keys at the end of the season gets a free trail pass next winter...just understand how much you will be helping them by preventing them from getting back behind the wheel...and how the hell did this idiot get a school bus license??
