After successfully getting into Canada and starting your week long vacation, and you test negative for Covid, you must also take steps 3 and 4.
3. Call your boss, tell him you tested positive for Covid and need a second week off for mandatory quarantining. (Tell the boss to put you down for sick time instead of vacation time).
4. Call your spouse and tell her you will be away a week longer than you planned.
Optional: 5. Tell your spouse you love her.
Mandatory; 6. Ride the trails for two weeks. 

This is how I roll, never leave without the Caddy. All the above posts are spot on. A 150 mile range sled, turns into a 100 mile range sled real quick, learned my lesson once, NEVER AGAIN!!!!

Checked out the main trails today. 93 was a little rolly today and will get tons of traffic this weekend, note to self, stay away from this section until next week. The 276 was groomed half way to the Bras Louis, A big power line corridor is under construction currently in this area, the Bras louis and 276 are effected. More crew arriving today, overall, it just sends good to be back on the sled!  Maine just turned down a small power corridor to bring Quebec power to Boston😜  .  They could learn something from these guys!  You gotta love Quebec hydro, they know how to move Electricity! Love it!

Yeah, it's a new season that is just pointing ahead! It is looking so much better than at the same time last season. We can expect I think a "near normal" season, at least in the new normality parameters of having to show vaccination proof here and there and wearing a mask at some points. For now the covid19 situation here  is under good control and the restrictions are slowly releasing which is very encouraging. With the border being already reopened the whole picture is really promising for now
From what I have been told almost all outfitters/service points are planning to be there for us in Lanaudiere and Mauricie, no big issue yet that I am aware of. 
For now we are waiting for snow! The last year season's opening having been so late, the mark won't be hard to beat this year!
Hoping to left my first tracks in the beggining of december like the 2 seasons before...
I left you this video from 2018 opener, it was with my old camera setup a bit more shaky but the scenery was pretty impressive in the Mastigouche wildlife reserve
It was a 1st december... like in just a month!

Few days ago was vacationing in the NW Maine mountains and went into the back country and did some hiking around Grand Falls.
And today wife and I and kayak Josie did a local paddle.
