In 2004 I went from Baie Comeau up to Manic 5 and continued to Lab city on my 2001 Goldwing. Then 350 miles across the trans Labrador Gravel way to Happy Valley Goose Bay. Made it there, spitting gravel out of my teeth, no flats. The guys running the graders on the road were towing their pickup trucks behind their machines to go home with after their shift. From Happy Valley Goose Bay it was a 12 hour overnight Ferry to Cartwright. From there another 400+ Klicks of Gravel to Blanc-Sablon, Quebec, and the ferry to Newfoundland. I am glad I did it, but I certainly would not do it again on a touring street bike. Although I heard the road has been extended beyond Happy Valley Goose Bay now.
