Sorry for posting in the wrong thread yesterday. I wasn't wearing my glasses when I was drafting the post.
Thankfully, the conditions in RDL took a 180 deg turn. It's a winter wonderland once again. What a difference 5"+- of fresh powder will do here in town. We never saw the rain they forecasted—only snow. Parking lots are easy to navigate again.
Ran to the Biencourt Ski lodge today via 85 & 35. Deep fresh snow inland. Greater than what we received here in the city.
For the first time, after leaving the ski lodge, we returned via 546. WOW! Great trail. I recommend it. After picking up 571, we rolled into the Pistoles clubhouse for an afternoon thirst-quencher, then back to Hotel Universal via 5.
Bottom line conditions are excellent. Come on up.
Best,
Paddy O
