Is this stretch of trail fully open?   I read earlier that there was a landowner issue near San Simeon.   Headed up Saturday for a week.

Valin area was very good mid-week

Agree the best trail and views are on the north shore.   Missed it one year because of a storm.  Always plan that section early in our trip now.   The south shore is flat with a lot of road crossings.    Planning our 9th trip this year.    They’re nothing like it.

Easy ride from the Delta to KM31 so you can do some exploring on your way.   The Delta is a nice hotel, it has good parking and a restaurant onsite.  Saguenay Bill is from NH and a great ambassador for the region.

After 4000 miles this season mostly in the bush, this was the old man luxury trip.  640 miles of mostly fresh groomed and hotels with showers, heat controlled by a thermostat, TV's, lights that work and comfy beds.  Nice to see how the other half lives 😉

Got back from a week in Quebec Wednesday.   Started at the Roquemont and rode up to the Delta, over to KM31 and back TQ 3 and the Richelieu.    Probably 4 feet of snow along the trails.   No dirt on the trails.   Even Quebec City had good coverage.   The season is still going strong there.   

KM31 is basic but a favorite of ours because of the location.  The food is good.  We rode 93 to Sacre Couer-great trail.   The Pelchat Trail is recommended if the weather is good.  I wouldn’t do it in a storm.   The local trail to Onatchiway is usually good but we didn’t get up there last week.   Generally, the local trails are great.   

sounds like a real adventure.   Nice to see the mid-winter pictures.   Time to start planning for next year!
