Pipemaster

A section of Trail 63 was pulled down south so it goes through La Levendry Lodge. The lodge has new owners and added more rooms and a REAL nice dining room,Bar, Fire place etc. I made the reservations for myself and 7 other guys expecting the old setup. What a great surprise, and made look good ! I tried talking them in to becoming a sponsor here,see what happens.

GAS CAN not a gallon of oil !!!!! My buddy had a gallon of oil take a shit in his trunk bag ! What a MESS, and $ for the oil. The corners of the gallon cans are very thin and will blow out from all the bouncing around. Or just carry quarts in zip-lock bags

Twice my wife and I have dropped trailer and sleds in St Raymond and gone to Old Quebec City for 2 nights and back to St Ray and ride from there. Old City is real nice and both times was during the Winter Carnival, which is Great !

Thanks Phil, We stayed at Lac Truite so never looked for gas in Bellterre We will be going through there on Jan 26 so We should be OK Be there on Tues, but good to know ! Well if We can't find it now we shouldn't be riding !!, Thanks GT

Looks like we'll be right behind you guys. Ride scheduled for Jan 23 -27 leaving Rabaska to Levendryer to Val Dor for 2 nights to Martin then back to Rabaska. Anyone know if there is reliable gas in Belleterre ?

There is a nice place just north west of St Ray in Riviere-a-Pierre. I think it is called La Famille Hotel Bar Resto. Stopped there with wife once and a buddy another time for lunch and a few cold ones. The owner took the wife and I around the place. Simple place,but clean ! Maybe shared bathrooms,don't remember. Bar ,restaurant and rooms all in same building. the Local orange trail off 73 brings you right to the front door of the place.

Stopped in last year,very nice people and the girl is real nice on the eyes. Great cup of hot chocolate and even better Irish coffee !

went through there last week and it looked like guys were riding from there to head north. I would check with gas station

In Grande-Vallee we stayed at the Hotel Grande-Vallee des Monts. Not far off the trail and right on the bay. VERY nice place, good food, real nice rooms and friendly. Some rooms in main building,where we stayed and a few motel type room next door.

If you all ready have a passport, you can get a passport card for the same cost and does the same thing as enhanced lic. Now you have "2" really good forms of photo ID . And they both fit in your wallet !
