Je me souviens got a reaction from 182ray in New term for your snowmobiling dictionary
The thought crossed my mind to run them wide open, but then I came back to reality. I would hate to be a contributing factor in a head on collision. Not to mention that my 1200 is a few ponies short of a turbo Yammy. I remember this occurred in the same area a few years ago, funny part us that the culprits were residents of the same area. Let's remember to act as visitors in paradise rather than idiots in Quebec for the 1st time when we travel. Nothing makes me cringe more than hearing: "Criss d'Americain" when traveling up north. Let's try to respect one another for a change

Je me souviens got a reaction from doonali in Route 13
I can speak to 13 from st anne du lac due north. It is not what I would call a grand boulevard. Runs berween a cliff and the bazin river and it is tight and twisty. Last weekend it was icy where the cliff is steep as to be expected after the water ran with the warm up. Where do you want to end up?

That is some serious powder! I am already out of breath and sweating just looking at the pictures. My 1200 would not have even left the parking lot...lol. I remember Bernard telling us that the best way to get going again was to lay down in front of the sled and start making snow angels. Man that guy was funny. Always ready for your arrival with a Heck of a beer. I guess a skandic SWT might have come in handy today. Keep posting pics RR.

Je me souviens got a reaction from im4snow in Sweet Baby St. Ray
Shannon and I followed in Dave and Eddie's footsteps for our first foray of the season. St Ray to Alma and back. Midwinter conditions in the parc des Laurentides. New steed ran well, or so she tells me. A little chilly this morning. 20 below. The river had some serious snow mist coming off it this morning. I missed that photo op. Stay on the right and enjoy the season.
