With regard to the accident at Mt Valin, I can’t imagine the grief that family is going through. Apparently while unloading a snowmobile from a truck at a chalet the family momentarily lost track of their young child and the truck hit the child when it was moved. So sad

We usually bother Jack and Sandy for these days, so they may appreciate the break from us.....LOL

What I miss is the Ringy dang doo

Just back from coffee with Reggie at the Auberge. He has been hard at work updating lots of things as work never stops to improve your stay there. The breakfast area has been completely redone with new countertops and a new arrangement. You will be eating now on real plates with real utensils, gone are the plastic plates and utensils. The rooms have been repainted and redecorated again. Really looking great, 
The Auberge is booking up fast and he already has limited availability starting through the middle of January so if you want to stay there you better book soon. Go direct to the website of the Auberge as you receive a discount when booking online only through his website. 
Support and encourage this great place as he supports us here. A more welcoming place you will not find in the Shawinigan area. Safe, secure, and ready to make your stay the best it can be. 

The weather forecast predicts cold but not much for new snow.  If all goes well, we will be heading up Dec 27th.

WE should never get started with paying for a piece of trail . it will kill the sport. lsj did it to a couple farmers a few years ago.. no 2 strokes another bad idea , they are as clean as 4 strokes. what about summer traffic polluting... they are not the ones to groom so why do we pay sepac. , in the long run if this does not change it will be even worst for st. donat..people will skip the area all together..

I like to know the reason to not allow 2 stroke , probably noise  or pollution .  The noise it all about the trail guys using aftermarket pipe , they are closing so many trail because of this. SAD

Any 4 Stroke good to go or just the ones with mirrors and no studs?

Love seeing the pictures and hearing about the new sleds.  Looking forward to hearing longer term opinions on the 900T.  Enjoy your trip boys!

Markus, we are running the Turbos today for a full day, will have a better comparison after that. We have 700 miles on the 850 and 135 on the turbos.
As always on our early ride, we are getting a variety of conditions,  mostly good!, but some junk too!

 

SM, I agree with 603, The is a nice step up as the replacement for the 1200 imo. Both 603 and I commented after riding yesterday that you don’t really even feel the turbo, it is silky smooth. Nice linear pull through the complete acceleration mode.  An occasional turbo flutter on rapid deceleration🙂
Being an old 1200 4 stroke lover, I would buy that 900 turbo engine in “154 Back country edition”  in an instant. I really enjoy the torque and smoothness of a 4 stroke and would live with the weight difference😉
