There are gas stations along the trail that don't show up on the app. I understand that a station likely has to pay to be there but it would be nice for planning
The app tends to route you the shortest way, sometime we want to go the longer route. Maybe a button to turn off shortest route.
You can make it route the longer route the way you would like to go by adding waypoints. Pics show shortest and longer route by adding waypoint 1 in yellow.

We talked to a group of guys who have done it recently and they recommended using this company to get it done.http://quebecrider.com/forums/uploads/monthly_2023_04/image.thumb.jpeg.df671099c49e7a4e481b3b1c246ce9ac.jpeg

Ok see that. Looks like you might be able to get them back up with a blip of the throttle too. Anything that gets the skis off the ground.

Yes, look nice. Did not see if they go back up automatically when back in snow?

I'm thinking the most obvious choice is Marina Chibougamau, although there are a couple of other choices.Hotel Chibougamau has resto-bar,if that's a priority.Food and accom at MARINA very good along with great host's.
We started staying in Chapais few years back on recomendation from Snowmaster2112. Love the place Hôtel Opémiska. Very clean, comfortable. Community showers. Continental breakfast. Bar next door for dinner. Gas next door. Easy in easy out on trail.

When we were in Chapais few weeks back same thing. Met a couple guys that were supervising drilling sample cores looking for precious metals.

So in your opinion Snobeeler, will the west hold for next week with afew days of warm weather coming this week.I'm thinking and hoping yes.
I would say yes, you will hit some thin spots but most trails will be good. Will be thin on roads and gas stations. Where you starting from?

I have trouble with there wording?Should be FLANGED. not tapered.I also installed mine as yours were origonally installed.I personally think your bearing failed, as the cause of your issue.and i did check the showroom floor at Beric's in ValdOr on the 21 st and no( ss) on anything there. I guess I will re-install my spacers as you say.😉
Thanks for trying to find me parts. I am all back together and heading back up tomarrow. When installed correctly you should see a gap (3/16" or so) between the end of the spacer and the wheel cover. Should be no friction.

I actually found the root cause. The Hygear torsion spring spacer was installed backwards and worked its way over into the wheel and bearing causing enough heat to melt the wheel etc. The dealer who installed them followed the (incorrect)written directions that came with the spacers. The web site directions are correct. The paper ones are not. Step 5 on paper instructions is wrong.

I wonder how long the groomer was stuck? When a groomer gets stuck in a blind spot a good practice would have been for operator to imediatly walk up trail a bit to place tape or cone. Then continue to try and get unstuck. Glad nobody hurt seriously.

3 totaled sleds sounds scary, hoping for the best.
