  1. Why doesn't he just use the green key? You can always wait for him at the next intersection!😀
  2. Hi JG, is that groomer from "our " clubhouse as well?
  3. Got mine as well today, ordered Dec 8th!
  4. I got confused with trail conditions and groomer delay. The map changes color.
  5. Looks like it depends on if you're using a PC or your cell, mine are different!

    GPS

I don't believe you abuse the crap out of anything.......😀
  7. Used to be a great area to ride years ago. that 9 km of missing trail cut the life out of that area!
  8. Been closed for years now. it was supposed to be rerouted this year but got shut down again.
  9. Merry Christmas, Don and Merry Christmas everyone, it's merrier with iceman back!
  10. Mike, I will be joining that Unoin in a few years!!
  11. In the late 80's. early 90's, I used to go with friends to a Polaris dealer in PA, and that's when I first heard of Jim Jamison and his trips to Canada and that inspired us to try Quebec in 89! So he must of been a Polaris guy back then. About 5 year's ago I bumped into him at La Verandre, he had a SD 1200, he was meeting up with others to ride with them on a tour. I always wondered how a guy like him and his Quebec mileage is not on this site! I am sure Suaganay Bill has met him.
  12. Glad you got to ride and have fun, low miles, detours, cutting trees.....still better than no riding at all, or a day at work!!

    Gaspe

Maybe start inland, Cabano, or Valga, the shore areas tend to thin faster
  14. Looks like there's a local trail off of 521 that ends at the racetrack on imotoneige
  15. Jim, you got your moneys worth on that winch!!
  16. That's why you went back twice.....??
  17. The area should hold up as there was good snow cover, I did see the sign for the Meriotel, but it was a little further up so we took the Manoir trail, place has food, bar, rooms are a little small, food was good. Has a sled corral, and there is a gas station after you turn off the 55 to hotel
  18. Are you referring to the pounding on your back from her....? That is why my wife now has her own sled!
  19. Is Gemma giving the thumbs up for a good job digging or....!!! in the 3rd photo!😀
  20. That's nice JG, enjoy the ride and company, say hello to Linda for me!!!
  21. Glad you got to experience this up close, and it looks like he came by fast and moved on without no harm done, we suffered a broken windshield and bent handlebar on one of our sleds a few years back on 595 ! Moose went by the first 2 sleds then kicked the last sled ! He (friend) was cold the rest of the way back, the rest of us were laughing in our helmets!
  22. We left Montmagny Friday morning and conditions were still good. The best lodging is L'oiseliere, but I think that by March 17th you should stay at Econolodge , right on the trail , no need to ride the sidewalk off trail ,with this warm up it will not survive unless they get more snow right before you start your trip. The Econolodge is being renovated and rooms are nice. March 17th is generally a hit or miss for Montmagny area. A trip that late in March needs to be planned at the last moment due to conditions.
