groomer Posted May 5, 2016 Author Report Share Posted May 5, 2016 ahhahahhaha !!!! hi artsled.....jackstraw and zeusand !!! snow ...moose and 4 x 4 for you !!!... hahhaha went back to st fidele cb yesterday afternoon....saw 8 moose ...including the dead one on my way back ...at 90' corner, i went straight ...landed at the 12 miles on logging road...went up to 18 ....then ,just for curiosity ..went toward my camp....still christmas there !!! 85 miles ride....only 8 c today ... that last moose...spent 20 mins there...50-60 ' from me...moose was eating !!! nothing to worry about ,there will be still snow next week !!!....hahha jean-guy Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

groomer Posted May 8, 2016 Author Report Share Posted May 8, 2016 hi artsled and jg !!! thx...bienvenue !!! can see a few birds since 2 weeks...always keep camera close ...never know what you can see !!! first 22 pics...last friday ...95 miles ride....9 moose... last 8 ....yesterday ....4 moose ,windy ...pic 27 , im 7 miles from camp...if i can do the next 2 miles...i ll be ok ...came back by 90' corner on tq 5 !!! pic 1 ...on the left ...road we used to go to my camp for gathering ...about 7 miles before camp ...on the right...4 miles from camp ...but there s a brook !!! no bridge !!! i ll take a break ...no where to go now...i rode all roads i could do ... roughly 275 miles in 3 rides this week !!! next big ride..i ll hit 29 000 km !!! jean-guy Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Your snow is staying late, no . timbo bonjour timbo !!! great thx !!! miss gaspesie yet ????... hahhaha...took pics half an hr ago !!! snowed late last night and started again around 10 am....still snowing ...but not sticking in town ...must go a bit higher in elevation...-2c right now.... very windy where tq 5 cross logging road !!! yaa...we re late...did nt check all my files this morning ...but on may 9 th last year ,i was at my camp with 4w only... on th 11 th ....i was riding about 15 miles north of my camp ...at the entrance of park matane....it ll take a while before i ll be able to go back there... and i was able to ride most large roads...clear cuts ...around both lakes and my camp.... one of my friend used his sled at the lake last week end !!! rivers are a lot higher today !!! jean-guy Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Yes JG ? hi artsled !!! depending of the years....yes !!! 11 / 12....lost snow fast ...third week of march !! 07 / 08 ....friends were riding mid november !!! 90 / 91 ...awesome ...mid november...but lot more snow than 07 / 08 !!!! 87 / 88....maybe 86 / 87....bad one ...i was at the lake with my truck on april 11 th !!!...and back then ...road was nt as wide !!! rode 115 miles yesterday ...still can t make it to my camp !!! i ll try again maybe this afternoon by logging road...1 deer...1 moose..1 coyote.... 2 ducks !!! warm ...but very windy yesterday !!! jean-guy Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
