groomer Posted May 31, 2016 Author Report Share Posted May 31, 2016 hi zeusand and artsled !!! thx...yaaaa....hope to put a few miles on ...i slowed down on the riding ...started working yesterday .....im about 4-5 miles from clubhouse...not too far from 587 !!! only 1x i came close to walk ...late april ...early may ...i was about 6 miles north of lake...at that time of season , there s no traffic... got stuck in the snow...while trying to get out of there..i noticed while giving gas to 4w....motor was nt taking gas very well or was nt breathing very well ... checked air filter ...very clean ....then i noticed there was sh?t or debris in the gas tank and there was some in the carburator too....tried many times to start 4 w ...no luck ....took my stuff off the 4w and hid it between trees ... i was ready to walk ....then lightning struck me ....took a tool ....and knocked on carburator a few times....then ...vroooooommm...back in business !!! saved the walk ...hahhah happened 2-3 years ago.... i put 1 shaft for shifter......worn out ,about 4 years ago......then last year ....1 front wheel bearing and rear axle bearing ....and 1 ball joint ... last week i was up to put , 2 ball joints ...i front wheel bearing ...2 bushings ...thats about it !!! jean-guy Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

LOL Hope you get as many miles on this one without much trouble like your last one. hi smclelan !!! absolutely right !!! went to check a few weeks back ,just like that for info....i learned that honda don t make model like my old one anymore....i was discouraged....i wanted it simple with not much technology ... foot shit , power steering and rear axle !!!.... i was caught between 2 fires...so , i returned last thursday ...i had the choice of.. foot shit ....no power steering and independent suspension ...or electric shifting ....rear axle and power steering ....... independent suspension ....too much stuff ....did nt need that ....i wanted a rear axle ... i had to decide ...i was on my way to camp.... there was one in lsj .....foot shit ....no power steering and independent suspension...friend of mine at the lake bought it .. jean-guy Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

groomer Posted June 2, 2016 Author Report Share Posted June 2, 2016 hi all !!! scorpionbowl !!! yaaa...just too bad they are nt into chainsaw....some guys, few years back were using their thinning saw ...4 stroke...but not enough hp...too weak...but very good on gas... small soft wood...from 4 '' to 10 '' diameter max.....perfect chainsaw for that ...this morning ,while talking with dealer...he did nt say it officially ...but looks like they had problems with that model...electronic carb on that model....never trusted electronic carb smclelan .... no thx....even if you give me one for free....hhahaha... i ll break it on a stump !!! could be an idea...but i don t like to plan in advance !!! might have something else !!! jg ... we could do a big party at my camp ,the day before departure!!! time for bed...here in the gaspesie...we wake up early .......... jean-guy Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
