I can't speak to what is happening now but we saddlebagged the UP 5 years through the early 90's. Back then the DNR contracted groomer owner/operators for a good portion of the grooming done in the UP. There was definitely daytime grooming every day in different areas through the week. Weekends seemed to be more night time grooming which was necessary because the traffic volume through the day was unbelievable compared to what we were used to in Ontario.
