99% of our trips in the last 14 years start in Shawinigan, or St Raymond. Never an issue leaving trucks for the week. Both spots excellant for 3-4 day loops North Usually avoid the Quebec city area if possible near the weekend for obvious reasons

From BSP to the Delta via Tadousaic up the 93 to the Delta about 260. From there up around LSJ via the 373, great trail to Chambord about 240 great place with outdoor pool and spas. from there about 200 back to BSP or take the 355 and stay in St Raymond then back to BSP on the 4th day. All those options can be shortened or lengthend depending on weather and trail conds.

Everyone gets there panties in a knot, the start of winter is still a week away. Come the first of the year it will be cold and snowy like it is every year! Riding is rarely good before the 2nd week of Jan. anyway when everything is open and connected. Patience grasshopper! And this is coming from someone without any! LOL

Nope, Found the trail and was one track headed up and overgrown. 60 miles up on that was not in the cards!

We stayed at motel Chibougamau. It's in the center of town, the trail kinda circles the town. Nice place, can walk to everything. Certainly an interesting town to say the least! We stayed there planning to see what the trail to Misstissini looked like which was a single track North.
