Hi all, Making the switch from Poo to Skidoo Renegade Enduro 900T next season. I have seen many setups for carrying luggage. Probably will not carry gas as this has never been much of a issue in the past for us. I like the idea of everything in 1 bag. Needs to be completely waterproof. The 2020 catalog shows a "New" LINQ Cargo Box 62 L part # 860201634 that fits Rev Gen4 137" and up. I saw GTRider has this stock on his touring sled. Cant tell from his pictures what it would look like on a single seat sled. His is 2-up. Thoughts welcome and if anyone has pictures of their setup would appreciate. Thanks
First Farmer Old switches to Doo now you? What's going on in western NYS??? lol

hi ray !!!
hahahha...right answer....perfect stop on the trail !!!
i have nt received my poutine yet from the admisnitration ...we could use their credit card !!!!..ahahah
jean-guy
That is completely unacceptable that you haven’t received your poutine yet
instead of discovering self service gas stations a certain “mod” should have been wining and dining the gaspesie’s premier trail surfacer operator
😂

My experience at Tug Hill was a good one. I did not experience any of the negatives that you hear on line.
The Ridge View is a great place to stay only drawback is there is no breakfast other than continental. It was a bit of a late start for us on Friday as we had to be at the DMV for 8:30 to get our stickers. Good thing we did, first hour into our ride and we were stopped by the police making sure everyone was in compliance.
I think it was 9:30 by the time we rolled out. Plan was to get into the plateau and see what all the hype is about. Lots of snow and trails were soft. The groomers were out doing their best to pack down the snow. We headed to Redfield then Williamstown where stopped at Bucks for a break. From there we went towards Osceola and looped but the other side of the park. Trails were awesome and Trail C4 has to be one of the best. We made our way to the Hook& Ladder by recommendation of you guys. Great place and food is really good. From there we made our way back.
Really enjoyed it here, nice to be at place where I have never sledded before. I did not see any of the horror stories, everyone stayed right and trails were the best than can be after a snowfall like that.
One other note, the people so very nice and accommodating. Can't wait to go back.
I REST MY CASE!!!
Thanks Fozzy for the ride report

The wifi is not working well up here so will do my best. It's crazy up here! The drive up was the worst I have ever been in. Roads were being closed just as we got through.
It was snowing so hard we drove 10 miles past our hotel witout even knowing it. We could barely see two feet in front of us on hwy 12.
We came upon Boondockers, went in for directions only to realize we blew past our hotel a ways back. Decided to grab a bite eat there. I realize now that is the place you are at Phil. I should have looked you up.
We finally get to the hotel and decide we will go for alittle rip. The lady at the desk said its best not to go. Well we are not good listeners. Let's just say I hate Yamaha!! Stuck?? Dam right we got stuck! 2 km out of this friggen place and Bucky got his Apex buried. Took us close to an hour to get that beast out. The snow here is funny. At first it's very light, but after a few minutes it packs like concrete.
This has to be record snowfall storm here. Never seen snow fall at this rate before. So far loving the adventure. The hurdles I had to jump through to get here is a post all on its own. When back I will make it a topic for discussion.
Phil, keep an eye out for two Canadians, one driving a Nytro (Fozzy) the other on a Apex (Bucky).
Be sure to give us a ride report Fozzy.

Anyone know where to exchange money or the first place to do so over the border from Jackman??
There's at least one bank in Jackman (or at least there was) you could exchange some money there. After crossing the border it's fairly rural country side. Recently I have been using an ATM to get CA money the service fee was $2.00 a transaction which I can live with.
If you use a credit card make sure they don't charge foreign transaction fees.
Jackman Powersports sells all four brands & has great service if need anything

It's easy for people to rag on Tug Hill but don't forget there's a lot of hard working volunteers making the trail system happen. Like most places you'll find if you can ride during the week the trails can be as good as anywhere.
Hopefully you have a great time. As someone else mentioned there's a lot of pits tops to check out.

where would you stay at any sponsors in Saguenay ???????
we would be a little closer and would not be such a big day for us on the 1st day of our ride
Thanks
Zrtkat
The Delta to Forrestville is very doable in a day...from Roberval now that would be a challenge

This is the first snowmobile club house after crossing the border if they're open you can get trail passes there
This where the shuttle will pick you up http://hotelnormandin.com/accueil-hotel-bernieres/
This is where the shuttle will drop you off Hotel Motel Colibri, Quebec 8516 Boulevard Hamel, Quebec, QC, G2G 0H8, Canada, 888-950-5062
I think it's about $35 CA per sled
The Signature Hotel is a good place to stay & depending on the how your crew rides you should be able to make it there in one day including the shuttle across the bridge.
Crossing the border from Jackman is very convenient on a sled you drive right up as if you were in a car. Have you passports handy & hopefully no one in your crew has anything on their record that would prevent them from entering Quebec.
This is a great area to ride. Have fun & be sure to give a ride report.

Hi Team Gutz,
I know you guys have been at The Delta since Thursday evening. I was wondering how the trails are, how the sleds have been running, how's the Team Gutz fabricated items are holding up to the extreme testing regiment by Team Gutz?
So in short what's HOT???
Sincerely your snowmobile buddy,
