I think they are a bit late, probably because the warm fall. We begin to see them more actually in the last days... It was pretty bare in the Bershires this weekend... This is how the backyard looked before the storm... Post us the after storm pic... Here too, Sandy storm will surely blow off the last leafs that were not fallen yet... next step, think snow... "Rock"-tober trails have gotten pretty gnarly, so I don't take new riders there. Not rocky enough. Too dry for Beartown. Looks more like Pittsfield. Good eye!! Over the course of time, I must have ridden every trail in the park, including the dead ends. Found a redneck style shooting range on a side trail off of the West Street trail. Wonder how much of the park is still closed off and when its expected (if ever) to open again. Not sure if this was posted elsewhere, but figured I'd add to the fall pictures with a ride on Mt Laurier. Thanks to Jean-Guy for the picture. Will try to get a few more this weekend from the track. We had a great weekend, lots of mud, lots of fallen trees over the trail and lots of laughs. And one of us was thrilled with the SNOW!
