    Good day everyone!

I've had to break out my snowmobile  gear lately wearing it  to strike here in Quebec. Yes, I'm a teacher and we'd had a few strikes over the past month.

I also had to put my summer gear away as winter was slowly settling in. Looking forward to the upcoming snowmobile season, already discussing and making plans on possible rides with lover.
In the meantime, I wanted to share this close encounter I had on my paddle board. I've been hoping for this for four years.

Trail 5 on the north shore will give you mountains as well as trail 595. Lots of wonderful scenery and once you have been there you will want to go back so save the Murdockville to LaCache trail for that trip.

    FINALLY, FINALLY
The new resurfacer arrived early this morning.
It was due to arrive last year, but with all the delays due to COVID, and also the fact that we were the last resurfacer to be delivered this year for Lamtrac, the manufacturer.

All that's left is to attach the scraper at the back and of course a good fall of snow, so that we can try it out.

The Trans-Québec 83 trail may open in the urban sector of Saguenay.
The Saguenay Snowmobile Club has reached an agreement on rights of way with a farmer from La Baie and with Rio Tinto who agrees to renovate a bridge it owns on the route.
Finally, a solution was found to bypass the site of the new service point of the SAAQ in the Arvida sector.
Snowmobilers from outside will therefore be able to go to the various hotels in the city.
It's certain that, at the moment, it's like plasters . [...] because sometimes they sell land where we pass, but there, it was too late because it was sold , explained the president of the Club des motoneigistes du Saguenay, Jocelyn Charest, in an interview with the show It’s never the same .
We need a long-term solution so that we stop investing for nothing by changing the paths. We all have to walk in the same direction to have permanent paths for the City of Saguenay.
A quote fromJocelyn Charest, president of the Saguenay Snowmobile Club
He now wants a permanent solution for the future.

The city is in the process of setting up the committee with their own members, and on our board of directors, we passed a resolution so that I could sit on the committee , he mentioned.
The City of Saguenay's off-road vehicle committee currently has only one member: municipal councilor Serge Gaudreault.
He has been campaigning for several months to consolidate the committee which will soon bring together elected officials from the three boroughs, representatives of all off-road vehicle clubs as well as Promotion Saguenay staff.
The goal of the committee is to have permanent, long-term trails. 5 to 10 year contracts with farmers. If land ever sells, we need to know about it in order to negotiate access quickly , maintains Serge Gaudreault.

to the end for sure of the 3. Will consider looking at Newfie Land as well. Starting from Matane and either Baie Comeau or Godbout. Which ever way I start I will finish at the other. If one is a better place to start for daily distance or end locations I'm open to that. We have no time restraints and we're all experienced for trail and ride as much or litlle as the day or trail commands
