Yeah, it's a new season that is just pointing ahead! It is looking so much better than at the same time last season. We can expect I think a "near normal" season, at least in the new normality parameters of having to show vaccination proof here and there and wearing a mask at some points. For now the covid19 situation here  is under good control and the restrictions are slowly releasing which is very encouraging. With the border being already reopened the whole picture is really promising for now
From what I have been told almost all outfitters/service points are planning to be there for us in Lanaudiere and Mauricie, no big issue yet that I am aware of. 
For now we are waiting for snow! The last year season's opening having been so late, the mark won't be hard to beat this year!
Hoping to left my first tracks in the beggining of december like the 2 seasons before...
I left you this video from 2018 opener, it was with my old camera setup a bit more shaky but the scenery was pretty impressive in the Mastigouche wildlife reserve
It was a 1st december... like in just a month!

Spoke to my Dealer and like many of us the New Spring Order Sled ( Enduro in my case ) will NOT come with the Ice Ripper Track.
After looking around for a replacement, Chris at C-T PowerSports said he can get a New Pre-Studded Track!

The TQ 5 goes to the Inter-Provincial motel in Pointe a la Croix, from there call Mundles Towing 506 759 8881.  They will come a large tilt deck and take you across the river to the trail on the New Brunswick side.  

The platform certainly discourages it, but the hosts do have final say on what occurs with their property.  The host will get fined by the platform for canceling and it is noted in their reviews.  In this instance the guy said he sold the place.  Not the end of the world being months away.  I think if it was right before the platform would have done what they could to re-book us somewhere else.

These pictures are around St. Zenon, just south of St. Michelle des Saints, Christmas Day, 2019. North of the Seven Falls area (translated) conditions were good at that time. Follow Facebook site or get on email from Lionel at Le Glacier as he is good with updates. Last year was thin and did not get started until about January as I recall.

Not a diabetic, but my primary riding partner is.  I can tell you this from experience.  DO NOT let that insulin freeze.  My buddies did, and we were in the middle of the Gaspe, and his blood sugars would not come down below 300.  Made it to the Baie Bleue in Carleton Sur.  Luckily the owner knew the owner of the local pharmacy who opened up the pharmacy for us on a Sunday at 9PM, so he could get insulin.  One of the many reasons I love sledding in Quebec.  Try that at your local CVS.  My buddy keeps it in a double insulated bag, on his body.  Watch the temps on the fridges in the hotel rooms too.  He had some insulin freeze in the fridge, luckily he learned and had plenty.
