Brought it in the garage to change some clutching and install my “Quebec” windshield instead of the 3 inch tall one that came with.

    Resolved for this year
Volunteers will be able to maintain the main trail through the City of Saguenay.
Discussions have intensified over the last two weeks, so that the difficulties that were jeopardising the opening of the snowmobile trail that runs from La Baie to Jonquière, the Trans-Québec 83, have been resolved and it will now be accessible.

With just under 23,000 miles on a 900 ACE Blizzard, I decided to get a 2024 renegade adrenaline enduro with a 900 ACE, pilot 5.8 skies (not the TS skies), and KYB front shocks. Love the 10.25 touch screen. Lots of learning time to keep me occupied until snow time.

RAVE RE and Renegade are both 137.  Renegade XRS has the best suspension Ski-Doo offers in a trail sled.  Lynx is next step up, more like a "XRS+".  It's geared towards stability in the bumps.  Sit and cruise guys will be more happy with the Ski-Doo options.  I like them both 😏

I like what i am seeing so far. Winter setting in slowly. Some freeze some thaw makes for solid ground.

Not our first snow but first one with real quantity.

Is it just me or does the app no longer auto-rotate when going from portrait to landscape orientation?  The web based api still rotates.

Haven't heard much news about QuebecRiders getting new sleds this year.
Bought mine today. Last four sleds were 900 ACE's, needed something different. Maybe at 70 I needed one more hot rod before I get too old.

Yep you are all spot on it: the devil's mountain relay/point of view
@Pipemaster: I was thinking the new relay was on the same spot but maybe not exactly the same but not far because it was really near of the top of the big hill of the trail on the east side as of today. Being on the same summit the view is the same for sure
The old relay with no electricity was quaint and very special. Even 23 years ago it was a 40 years step back going in there! Kristine when going to the toilet in the back that was a very small room with a wood step with an hole in it had the surprise to see her toilet paper piece rising back from the hole and flooting in the air from the mountain backdraft !!!😂😂😂

this one just aside the new relay

Since my last visit they have built an observation tower near the relay that seems really nice. Here a pic took on the net

In 2006 we rode 347 on our way up to Roberval.  I would say about 10 miles before Odanak there was an open stream crossing.  There was a guy on a Yamaha sitting on the other side. He stopped us and told us not to cross.  His sled picked up the perfect size rock to wedge between the track and the forward bulkhead of his tunnel. We crossed on the ice of a little pond and stopped to help him out.  There were eight of us plus him.  We worked at it for about an hour but could not get that damn rock out of there.  Tried to remove the axle but did not have the right tools to do it.  He had sent the two guys he was riding with to La Tuque to get a hammer and a bar and said they should be back anytime.  One of our guys had a couple of beers in his saddlebag leftover from the night before.  We gave him one, and told him if we didn’t see his buddies by the time we got to La Tuque we would come back and get him.  About three miles later we met his buddies on their way back for the rescue.  Long story, but I have think about that trail every time we pass through. Too bad we lose those trails.
