We had 2 in our group that got the test to go. No quarantine, just do it facetime with a nurse with in 24 hours and they will come and pick it up. Why they just dont do it at the border I dont understand? Everything else the same other than you need a mask everywhere and if you go to eat make sure you have your vax card, they look.

What would our electric service and panels look like if these were all electric? Plus our electric Super Dutys, SXSs? Wife's trucks or cars? Imagine the stress on our grids with an inverse mix of fossil fuel vehicles to all electric.  Hell even 60/40 fossil fuel to electric mix.  All bolstered by unreliable "renewables".  In an ever colder world "saved" from Anthropogenic Global Warming by eliminating fossil fuels.  Think TX in record cold without enough electricity X orders of magnitude.
Imagine lunch at Repos or overnight at 100 Lacs with an Octopus of 220v wires charging up the sleds off the grid.

I can help you out Mike.  Send me enough money in US funds to buy a new 900T Enduro.(they don't sell Polaris in Canada).  I will put the sled in my name just there there would be no questions. Then pour a glass of Rouge and wait for me in the bar at the Universal!

Kind of lucked out in this regard - have a self contained log chalet, food, and gas in cans for a week - was supposed to move on to Amqui for tours around there, thought twice about that due to the close quarters of the next lodging and extended our stay in the Saint Raymond area. Little traffic on trails in good condition and as spouse's first season on a sled, this worked out well.

We stay a good 2 meters away from any visitors - only the hot tub technician has been by - and practicing proper safe self - isolation procedures,,,,

Supposed to snow and then rain today - earlier rain a couple of days ago actually firmed up the trail base around here.

Finishing saddlebag trip. Saturday night, Bernieres, south of Q city. Sunday night la tuque. In restaurant they spaced out the few people in there. Plenty of people out riding the last 2 days. Yesterday got back to the Delta and our truck (which someone hit😞). Its pretty weird here. 4 other sleds in compound, Ontario guys, leaving today. Delta is 10 story hotel. It only has 4 floors open. Bar closed, restaurant, last night, while we were there, had those 4 guys and 2 other couples. Except for carryout, as we understand, dining rooms are closed at mcds, Tim's, and St. Hubert's. Facebook is listing more and more relays closing. We were going to day ride for a few days and head home on the weekend, now not sure. I feel like we've walked into a Stephen King novel. And to add insult to injury the trails are in great condition.

This decision is not ours to make but that of the Fédération des clubs motoneige du Québec. A portion of the TQ-83 trail has officially closed until further notice. If this happens, you will not be able to fill up your gas tank in Wemotaci nor refuel. Access is prohibited due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Please plan your travel accordingly. Let's be good citizens and avoid travel as much as possible. Please be aware that this situation is beyond our control. Thank you for your understanding.

I’m keeping a close eye on this one.  All of our schools are closed for the next 5 weeks, which means my wife might be able to get away. I was hoping to get her up to Quebec for a four or five day trip.  Watching the weather, the trail conditions, and the ability to cross the border.

    libraries, museums, cinemas, theatre ....closed
pools, spas, saunas, all ski stations. Bars and gyms ....all closed
anything with a buffet closed, sugar shacks closed.
    Restaurants limited to 50% capacity
Saying stay 1 meter from others...2 meters if any symptoms

I believe you may see the border close eventually but even then any Americans in Quebec will never be unable to return to the USA,  But to get into Quebec probably won’t happen.
All schools and universities and daycare closed right now for 2 weeks
All non essential travel is discouraged. Residents outside of Canada being urged to return.
39 confirmed cases in all of Quebec
    3 in Mauricie
300 as of today in all of Canada.

You bet, after 33 seasons only 1 of the guys I rode with is still riding, and he is talking about quitting after this last ride next week. I just went on a 1959 mile ride alone...some say it is crazy, but it was a great ride...with zero snow dust...and I met a lot of great people out there...I do not get too crazy about it...when your number is up...that's it...might as well be doing something you enjoy!!

Woke up And talked to Martin from Relais 22, He was good enough to haul the sled down  to Nautico, the BRP dealer in La Tuque. Martin was such a great help, he brought Relais 22 four years ago, has made great improvements and is continuously upgrading it. We will definitely stay there our next time through.
At the dealership there were no parts plus they wouldn't be able to work on it till next week.
Got a ride into town with Pourvoirie Lac Dumoulin’s owner, Danny, to CarStar truck rentals and 2 McKenzies are on there way to Mt Laurier to pick up truck and trailer.
The remaining McKENZIE and 2 Moore’s towed in wounded sled from the night before with help from staff from https://www.lacdumoulin.com/
Small day trip to La Tuque  for rum and fuel and around Lac Wayagamac. Back late afternoon for a drink and dinner when we received an update from the 2 McKenzies, who where pulling off at St Jerome for the night.
The following morning, Mr & Mrs Byrd continue on to La Tuque. Snowmobile Trip is over, load up sleds after a great, extended stay at Lac Dumoulin with our intended end of day destination being Cornwall.
Crossing the bridge in Beloeil, another gremlin popped up...axle trouble. Pulled into the gas station just off the highway. End of the road for this trailer!  Not sure what to to so we found a place to spend the night.
Up in the morning and made a plan. We went trailer shopping, after making lots of phone calls and lots of driving around we finally found one. "You know that money you were saving for a rainy day, it's raining!" And that pocket of cash you are always suppose to carry is getting lower.
Shuffled sleds into new trailer, coordinated a tow of the crippled trailer to Andre at RemorquesMontreal.com in St-Michel.
If anyone is ever looking for a trailer or trailer services check out Attaches Chateauguey in Ste-Catherine off the 30.
After dealing with both new and old trailer, on our way to Cornwall in a snowstorm.
This sport isn't for the faint of heart. We'd like to thank everyone along the way that helped us out, we are incredibly greatful for everyone.
Back home to fix the sleds, and off on our next adventure in early March. Stay tuned

Had a GREAT night. Never made it to Parent like I thought. I left Kanawata after lunch, stopped by Wemo but never actually went into town. Turned back around and headed west. I did not spent the night in Casey, Wemo or the Barrage Gouin.
    Where did I stay ?
clue: it was like getting into a time machine and going back to 1970

Lac Dumoulin was the real deal, I would direct others to try out "Island life" in La Tuque!!
They had multiple warm clean year round cabins available. And Owners were very nice and spoke pretty good English.
Bar was Stocked, Evening menu is general Pub food but hit the spot, Breakfast was huge (2 eggs, bacon and sausage, potatoes and toast).
They have a Tracked Kubota UTV pulling a Groomer for their 6 KM access trail off 73.
There was a group of 6 locals visiting the night we stayed, they were grabbing beers and food after work, and said they choose that location over other available options also.
Hopefully it remains open for the next time thru town.
I had posted a few pics on facebook.
