Thanks all.  So from what I am seeing the best plan would be to avoid Ottawa on our drive.

No problem going thru ottawa. Just avoid downtown area. Exit at vanier parkway, turn left on vanier parkway all the way up to st-patrick, turn left on st-patrick then turn right on king edward and you are all set.

I am crossing mcdonald-cartier twice for work.

I wasn't able to cross the border last year to experience any of these restrictions. What do folks do for lunch stops in this situation while saddlebagging? Get a sandwich from the hotel in the am or take out from a restaurant in town or relais?  Eat out on the sleds in the parking lot since can't eat in dining rooms?  What about when it's -20 outside, is eating outside really the only option?

    for lunch
you buy your food(sandwich, submarines)where ever you can buy some. Wrap it with foil, open the side panel and put it on the muffler. Odds are good you will end up with frozen fingers if it's very cold outside. But when you are on a trip...the show must go on.

here's a pic from last year just north of kanawata. my bro warming up his pizza slice 😀

    Mid range,

Le Domain had closed for a rebuild. Any idea if it got finished?

    Thanks

nothing has been rebuilt yet. Never heard of any updates for months. Last year there was a cabin behind the gas station for eating and warm up. Dead end this year.

Are you saying they are going start Grooming this again this up to Clova? If so will they also have access from say the Classic? I think that was closed off lately.

    Thanks in advance.

Trail still in the works. I've been told club is aiming for 2021. Route still to be determined. Yes restaurant le classic is closed this winter. That sucks!

I want to believe and hope that QuebecRider will go back to being a snowmobile site of friendships, old and new,  free of that which might divide those friendships.

Lets get back in the saddle, and be a team again.

Indeed....I live in Québec. I've been part of this site since day 1. I am tired of seeing US politics BULLSHIT on a site dedicated to snowmobiling in Québec.

My thoughts and prayers to the people of Nova Scotia during these terrible times. Great gesture from the municipality of Cantley here in Québec. Stay strong!!

The Municipality of Cantley sends condolences to the families and loved ones of the victims. She also wishes to show her solidarity with Nova Scotia by lowering her flags at half-mast until April 27.

“I offer my sincere condolences to the families and relatives of the victims during this difficult and sad time. »

  7.   From Alliance du nord SC.

This decision is not ours to make but that of the Fédération des clubs motoneige du Québec. A portion of the TQ-83 trail has officially closed until further notice. If this happens, you will not be able to fill up your gas tank in Wemotaci nor refuel. Access is prohibited due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Please plan your travel accordingly. Let's be good citizens and avoid travel as much as possible. Please be aware that this situation is beyond our control. Thank you for your understanding.
