  1. 3 day run for the 4 of us . Doubletree Quebec to the Delta on day 1 . 304, 369 , 23 , 83 .. all perfect into the Delta . Had a great dinner after meeting up with a couple of fellow Vermont guys at the Pizza joint.

Day 2 Freezing rain action in the morning,  oh well , head to the mountains ! ..  Delta to Auberge du Ravage , Lac Moreau. We took 367 out of town across the bridges to the local trail on the right  . Hit the 93 , total snow globe from the ski area  for the next 50 miles  . We did a quick stop at La Chappel to day hi to everyone  .  Lunch at the truck stop then off to the the boat ride  on the 3 . First time ever I think we hit it just right with a last second ride straight on the boat a minute before shoving off shore  .  3 to 383 north,  to 83 south to the Ravage turn  .  Awesome lodge with even more awesome food ! And the home of Borris 🐕 too .

Day 3  Back to the Doubletree,  83 to 3 .. simple enough  . Mix of conditions this day from smooth concrete to bumpy mashed potatoes but we'll take it as a 10 of 10 !

Get out and "get it now"was the the theme of our tour 😁

Thanks Mike!  When I started researching I sort of landed on Moosehead.  Found a reasonable place on Airbnb in Caratunk that is very close to the trail.  It's about a 500 mile drive which is about the most I really want to drive.  I see Rangeley would be closer so will look into that.  I think your other two suggests are a bit far.  Will be riding with my wife so only looking for 80-150 miles a day.  Obviously on the lower side if they are rough and/or tight, and the higher side if they are wide and smooth.  Where are you located?  Wondering if you would be able to provide an update Friday after the rain?  Hoping to leave Sunday but we haven't booked yet because we don't want to go (i.e. spend the money) if trails/weather aren't great. Will probably wait until Saturday morning to decide then rush around all day making arrangements, lol.  One last question, it appears I can register sleds online, my question is what does one carry as proof?  Last time I was in Quebec they went electronic in place of stickers, so you just had a screen shot on your phone.  Just want to make sure I don't overlook something regarding registration if we decide to go last minute.

I'm riding in Maine now.   We did the registration online  .. printed out the temporary pass info,  good to go . Easy as that .

Search for "Pensive"  on FB... they have been active in reporting sled status this season.  Pensive is a gas/food stop at KM 57 up from Hwy 117

Road is from Clova down to Hwy 117 .. so west of Fer a Cheval

Looks like its groomed up towards Pensive for sure  .  Club Gatineau is really close to where the grooming stops I'm thinking.

Dont know but two years ago a buddy and I from Vermont hit it in a "sweeter than sweet" moment. Sure is a nice trail.

It is the one that goes from outside of Clova to outside Fer a Cheval ...right?

We also rode that sweet trail , seems it was a one year only deal
