lindasledgirl
I am just wondering if there are 'public' plans in the works for a Winter Gathering this year? If I missed the post, my apologies. Thanks! Linda

lindasledgirl
It must be a secret this year or everyone is too old and tired to plan something?

MXZ700RIDER
This Winter Gathering sounds like a lot of fun. Have seen posts about it last year on QR. How long do folks stay? Weekend or longer? I might be interested if it is open to others?
Andyman
IMHO Shawinigan does not stand a chance. With no disrespect I can not envision a QR gathering there. I am on board for Gaspe but would suggest the first week due conditions.
smclelan
Look at that! There is always someone who parks their sled at the foot of the stairs in the way of everyone coming any going!!
Andyman
FLYING COUCH!
Florida Snowman
Gaspe is a great idea. Agreed first week of March cause ya never know when the meltdown or rains come in.
smclelan
FLYING COUCH! Yes an excellent description, however I was referring to the Ski Donkey at the foot of the stairs!! Was that the final trip for the "flying couch"? Was that the trip Mario mounted the flying couch??
snowfarmer
My vote is to have it a little later no matter where its going to be.To early you have could have snow total problems, warm ups , winter vortex ,shorter days ,un connected trail systems, blah blah blah! I always thought winter is at least 3 months long . Pick the middle / to the end .Better chance of great conditions. This is not always true but if you were a gambling man/woman 8 out 10 times this would be true!
