groomer Posted January 5, 2017 Author Report Share Posted January 5, 2017 while im gone grooming , mice are dancing !!! great story gutz...funny !!! too much imagination !!! back on tq 5 and 1 local trail ..strange day ..back to be back home !!! left at 3 am...mild temps and snowing ...snow stopped few miles from gas station ...then back with snow in ste marguerite...bit of wind...then more wind...then on my way back very windy ....temps started to drop ...first fields next to logging road...looking toward albertville...sky was black !!! did nt make it to '' school bus '' ....snowing like crazy ...then patch of blue sky with big clouds !!! jean-guy vt_bluyamaha54, snowfarmer and Florida Snowman 3 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

groomer Posted January 15, 2017 Author Report Share Posted January 15, 2017 hi artsled and vt blu !!! back from grooming ...-22c !!! last night before supper ..maybe -12 c....then after supper ...could feel the difference ...colder ...-20 c when i landed home !!! vt blu ... yaa...like the razor...home made by a guy in town...he used cutters from chipper of a mill ...work great !!! hard to tell ...must weight...350-400 pounds....i know we should add extra weight on the other side of drag to keep drag leveled...but already heavy...make the drag to lean a bit when too soft ... like to use it when trail is hard...like last monday night ....so , i can go backward for a 1/4...1/2 mile...don t mind at all....i try to cut as much as possible on the same run...right now ,tq 5 is clean at 95%.... only one local trail is bad...i ll try do it next week !!! this afternoon...cleaned parking at st fidele cb...then coffee break with a brownie...noticed there was a lot of people on the other side ... then, saw those 2 women crossing bridge and both had a plastic glass...i was thinking ...they are on the party ...they came toward machine...opened the door and they said !! blanc or rouge ??? geez ..what a surprise...they had brought me a glass of wine....it was the inauguration of the new warming hut ...in the name of the ex groomer operator and president of the cross point club so, the ladies came to offer me a glass of wine in the memory of the ex operator...the woman on the left ,she s the wife of the ex operator who died 2 years ago i think of a heart attack !! she s the secretary of the club !!! i took a little shot !!! great gesture from both ladies !!! they said ,you should take pics of the three of us....took a few ...then they said...don t be shy ...come closer !!! hahha grooming local trails tomorrow !!! jean-guy Florida Snowman and snowfarmer 2 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
