Big country up on the Manicougan, from the south end where we got on up to the north end at Gagnon it was 120 miles of lake riding with some big pressure ridges.  There is also a lot of flow going thru this water system so you need a good gps track because of bad spots with open water.

603        I had to look that up on the map, that is some impressive back country riding.  I always enjoy reading about trips to the remote and seeing pictures.

You and Roadrunner got any new places you are headed to this year?

We went all the way to Labrador City then continued through Churchill Falls and Happy Valley/Goose Bay. From there we went down to Port Hope Simpson and down to Blanc Sablon took the ferry over to the island of Newfoundland spent a few days there then another ferry to Nova Scotia to New Brunswick and down the coast of Maine. It was a 2 week trip the first 2 of August 4600 miles from home in NE PA. The black flies were really bad at times, but none on Newfoundland

Oh yeah it was the trip of a lifetime. If you are interested in doing it while there is still dirt road sections you better go sooner than later, that's why we went this year only about 400 miles of dirt left
