Thanks.  I'm kinda leaning towards Gaspe.  There was too much snow there last year.  Just a question if it will melt down too much in the next 7 days.  New Brunswick is a definate contender as well.  

Thanks Fuse6, we will scope the chic chocs trail entrance as we go by on the way to Lacache gas and make a decision…either chic chocs, or up 595 upper section, which we had planned to dip down and up the 595 upper the following day since thats a beautiful section.
maybe we’ll get lucky and the groomer is running the chic chics now 😀

We arrived in Murdochville tonight. Started from Pointe a La Croix this morning. Trails from there all the way to LaCache were excellent. Chic Choc trails was choppy and rough. Snocross course for 10 km around Mont Lyall where it drifts. Disappointing ride being it was such a beautiful sunny day.

We start from from Mon Joli Hotel in Mont Joli.
Reason being you leave your truck keys with them. If you break down they have a guy that will come rescue you. Had two trips where a machine in the group broke down. Real life saver when your 100’s of km from your truck

We may cross paths next week. We will be in the Gaspe for a 3 day loop Monday,Tuesday,Wednesday next week.

Monday Copper Hotel
Tueday night Quality Inn, Matane
Wednesday night, Interprovincial , Pointe e le Croix
2 more days in New Brunswick.

Nice lodge, 5 or so cabins.
 If not staying there great place for lunch and gas. Gas was always cash only in the past. 

Spent the night there with the wife last week. We rode in from Maine, crossed over in Fort Kent and back in through Van Buren. Great spot,cabin was very nice and food was good. Gas was real expensive but what can you do. Keep in mind kitchen closes at 6:30 and bar at7:00 and it’s an hour later in NB. That makes for an early night. Great trip

I will get home Saturday and should be back up Wednesday night to the Inter-Provincial to start another 4 day trip, maybe we will cross paths.

No that Zec has a private trail system in it. Completely different story. Their fees are justified. They groom a separate trail system and incur the costs to do so.  I don't think anyone is questioning their operations.

We have two week long snowmobile trips planned for your region. One week with a group of 6 men, another couples trip with 6 people. Both for strictly on trail riding.
Recently found out about your new ZEC fee. The precedent set by this fee could become devastating to snowmobiling in Quebec.
We spend approximately $2,000.00 per person a week on sled trips. This is a sum of $24,000.00 spend on food, lodging gas etc supporting all your regional businesses. For many of these businesses the snowmobile revenue is their sole source of income.
Due to your new fees and the way it has been poorly handled we are considering changing our destination to one week in the Gaspe and another in New Brunswick. We were very warmly welcomed in New Brunswick last winter. Our dollars will get spend,just not in your region.
There is also rumours your patrollers are targeting out of province riders. This is very concerning.
