Definitely I would lean towards the hit or miss.
I made it only because of the escort of Team Vermont. I had tried other times and yes leaving Sept Isles it sucks you in as it’s great trail usually but it doesn’t last long in the past experience i’ve had. Maybe 40 miles from Sept Isles then it becomes no mans land.
If there are tracks and not alot of blowing snow with GPS Track ok,
but otherwise from my experience personally 3 times tried only made it with the Team Vermont gang.
Will never forget that trip with Trailblazer and Team Vermont.
