Jackstraw
Day6 Woke up to an awesome sunrise this morning nice place the manoir but food not so good! Tq3 east still in great shape into the relais in escoumans for lunch. Other then some sections hardpacked and icy trails super for almost April. Into tadousac to catch the ferry, trail pretty well baked. Right on like they waited for us. Off the ferry tq3 through the twisty section flat as could be and into st Simeion for the night 240 miles. smclelan, MrGutz, MrsGTRider and 7 others 7

PLAYHARD
Seriously-seriously, touched down @ 4-Points/Signature! More detail to follow shortly! PLAYHARD
After the Forestville ground crew repaired my wardrobe malfunction. PLAYHARD
DAMNED good thing I rolled into center-ville Sacre Cour for gas, because the fairly new gas & depanneur in Tadussac was closed! Then the 20 miles of tight n twisties to the ferry, same as the Amigos rolled right on and off we went! smclelan, dooright, groomer and 1 other 3
PLAYHARD
After the 20 miles of frozen hard twisties from the ferry I took a new (not on Trakmaps) 3 West, instead of going thru St Simeon. Nice trail, mix of big & small then cool wavy rolling along a river. MrGutz, smclelan, towing and 1 other
PLAYHARD
Stopped at the local feeder to Claremont, about ready for gas, but nahhhh, too early to be tempted with the Fairmont/Casino. And the Polaris depanneur at St Amie was just 9k more direction west. Lunch of champions! Fine gas station dining! Kinda messy out back by the Polaris toys. towing, smclelan and MrGutz
PLAYHARD
Even with the overcast the Charlevoix range is awesomeness. Saw the Mrs' birthday on the clock, so stopped and sent the shot for thoughtful fool of the year status. Called Signature to make sure they had a room and Israel in reception said yes and that it wasn't going to rain! And if that wasn't enough inspiration, these larger than most signs started appearing all along the way. Right after running the Cote Nord roller coaster, this sign has less significance. smclelan, MrGutz, groomer and 2 others
PLAYHARD
Anyone never get tired of random trail pics?... Clubhouses were either packed with pick up trucks, or closed. Gotta be more careful about fuel ups when going solo, without those buddy cans! Onward west as it starts to blow & snow. All serious all of a sudden with heavy wet snow & gusty wind, didn't make it as easy as yesterday to get near 300 at a decent hour. Made the thought of Baie St Paul real attractive. But at that point Israel was waiting! PLAYHARD
Onward And backward And MOOSE! Tall-boy walked down the trail a bit, I started and killed the light/engine a couple of times, and he hoofed it off the trail. groomer, towing, im4snow and 4 others 6
PLAYHARD
Too whooped (like the last 25 miles into here) to go downstairs to Dijon to eat, so they delivered while I set out the soaked gear for the short ride tomorrow... So the next time someone says it's not going to rain, you might wanna just go with that!
