GT Rider
Continued Up the east side to the Barrage The temperature dropped and the wind was wicked. Fueling up was cold. After a terrific lunch (smoked salmon salad and seafood Fettuccini). We met a group of guys from upstate NY and chatted a bit. We then headed down the west side for 83 and 345. My battery gave in to the cold so no more pics today. 83 to 345 south to Kanawata it was a nice ride. Our first time on 345 north. We like it. GT Rider
Day 13) 232 miles It was another cold morning. Last day of the trip. We decided to have lunch at Riviere-Matawin. We took 345 south to M20 to 360. Just south of Kanawata The water was smoking with the cold.
GT Rider
M20 had a few trees laying across the trail it must have been windy. Our first day trip on M20. We like it! We arrived for rush hour at lunch. This place has changed a lot over the years. It’s gotten bigger but still very nice. We saw renovations going on. Parking room in the back only. After lunch a stop for some pics at the rapids.
GT Rider
continued 360 west to 345 south. Approaching La Cabinon the trails got thin and icy. It looked quite different from when we left. Further south into St-Zenon it looked pretty bad with dirt and ice. We crossed the street by the bistro and presto perfection. It was a nice finish to our trip.
GT Rider
We arrive and all is well. My truck and trailer waiting. Two days into the trip I read disturbing news. I have a dodge so no problem. We had a nice stay at La Glaciere. Lionel made us feel welcome.

PLAYHARD
Wowza. GT you da MAN! Aside from respecting the obvious "The Power Couple" (like Towing & Kri who you guys should plan a ride with), I REALLY REALLY respect your flexibility and sense of humor. Happy trails,

Snobeeler
What a great report! I was glued to my screen reading and looking at those beutiful pictures. I have been in all those places, just never all on the same trip, my hat is off to both of you. On a side note, do all you remember back in the day before that bridge was built near Mattawin. Yup, we crossed on the river. I hated that part. You had to know if it was passable before you rode there because if it was not you were screwed because you could not get back with no gas. revct1
Bravo. It is great to be able to saddlebag like that. The most impressive thing to me, like MikeRider said, is you two did by yourselves on one sled in some pretty desolate areas. Thanks for posting. We all enjoy reading and the pics are fantastic. When Groomer says the pics are good, you know they're good. Jack & Sandi :hi:
