It was good but not like we used to have obviously and breakfast is cereal, toast etc… Honestly I question if she is in a hurry to hire and return to normal. snowmaster2112
I’m sure Jean-Guy at Haltaparche didn’t get a cent. All these places (God Bless them) and thanks for the past years accommodations can kiss my batooty. I’ll keep staying here until the old man dies. Had there been something else in the area we likely would have taken it. One of the bonuses of staying at outfitters for me is having a good meal. Florida Snowman
Was there a few weeks ago. The owner needs to wake up. Doesn’t take much to have a tray of scrambled eggs & bacon there also for breakfast. Got a huge kitchen there not being used. For the money they charge I’m passing by next time until they go back to the Lac Faillon I know & loved. Have a great ride East today Wes! zeusand

quebec bob
Great ride...and absolutely one of the best parts of riding Quebec has always been the hospitality and camaraderie at days end over dinner and drink....this current situation is a real issue...all government created...rest assured these idiots who won't work are going to wake up one day and realize they have nothing in their wallet but a bunch of broken political promises...and I will never feel bad for them. The employers that have got away with paying peanuts for years are just finding they can no longer get help. Some call it a labour's shortage. I totally agree with this. I personally don't know any able bodied, working age people that aren't employed. A large number of boomers stayed in the workforce a lot longer than expected. Previous generations had to wait years for the generation before them to exit the work force and free up good opportunities. It's hard to comprehend the employment opportunities the young people have today, there's nobody in their way, and they don't have to pay their dues in low level positions like so many of us did. Just my 2 cents. Edited February 4, 2023 by P Hardy jak

Maybe we crossed paths. That run across the bottom from kanawata to faillon was the best stretch / ride from our loop for sure without a doubt, just over 400km.
